ER PHYSICIANS

Frontline Emergency Room is looking for Board Certified Emergency, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice Physicians who enjoy the practice of medicine. At Frontline, we have an excellent support staff with experienced nurses and radiology technicians. This position is on-site from 24 to 72 hours. This is a single coverage position.

Experience Requirements for the Physician:

Full-Time physicians must be board certified board eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine.

  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine from an accredited institution
  • A license to practice medicine
  • Minimum of 1 year ER experience
  • In-depth knowledge of current medical treatments and procedures
  • Great attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to think and act quickly in an ER environment
  • Currently in good standing with the medical board

Responsibilities:

  • Quickly assess emergency patients and oversee the patients recovery
  • Request medical tests, review results, and establish & implement a treatment plan
  • Develop effective patient care plans
  • Provide instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork
  • Maintain the patient’s medical records.
  • Needs to be comfortable in doing STO, WC, and PI care
  • Coordinate with different ER departments to ensure patients receive the necessary treatment
  • Maximize short term observation protocols
  • Maintain a high level of accurate chart documentation
  • Responsible for patient callbacks to ensure wellbeing and care
  • The average number of patients is between 6-8 per day.
